North is shaping up to be a new business hub. Why Far East Organization and other big players are setting up offices in Woods Square
A vibrant mix of reputable tenants
Many big companies are setting up shop in the North, namely Woods Square located at the centre of Woodlands.
Jointly developed by Sekisui House Limited, Far East Orchard Limited, and Far East Organization, the mixed-commercial project comprises of 474 strata office spread across four towers.
Qiren Organisation (SP – Qiren, an authorised representative of AIA Singapore), Anytime Fitness, Far East Organization, Superland Pre-School and The Write Connection are some of the anchor tenants that have already signed on to set their satellite office/branch in Woods Square. These established companies see the potential of Woodlands to be the next economic hub in the North.
Qiren Organisation (SP – Qiren, an authorised representative of AIA Singapore) will be taking up approximately 36,000 sq ft of space spread over one and a half floors at Woods Square. With Woodlands Regional Centre poised to be the largest economic hub in the North, coupled with the fact that the population in Woodlands is bigger than in other estates, being located at Woods Square brings greater convenience, says Qiren Organisation (SP – Qiren, an authorised representative of AIA Singapore).
“Having office, retail and other amenities, including a childcare centre within an integrated development, enables us to engage in direct outreach marketing activity with our key customer segments, and to achieve our objective of being the insurance provider for families, including those with children,” adds Qiren Organisation. “Our commitment has always been to ensure that people and their families are adequately protected.”
Far East Organization, developer of Woods Square, is also going to move a large team over to the commercial development. Taking up approximately 73,200 sq ft of office space over three floors within Tower 2, the new Far East Organization office will feature modern workplace facilities such as open collaborative areas that encourage creativity and teamwork and an on-site café.
Woods Square will see Far East Organization’s satellite operations housed under one roof for the first time. “This is the first time that our satellite offices are located within one location. Coupled with our digital transformational undertaking, it will drive better collaboration and improve our efficiency, which in turn, will enhance our ability to support and serve our customers better,” says Cheryl Huan, Far East Organization’s Chief Operating Officer for the Sales and Leasing Group.
“In addition, as a value-add to our Woods Square owners and tenants, we have also carved out a range of meeting facilities for them to access for a nominal fee.” she adds.
Meanwhile, Superland Pre-School considers Woods Square’s close proximity to retail, offices and transportation hubs as highly advantageous. The development is just stone’s throw away from Causeway Point shopping mall as well as the Woodlands MRT and bus interchange stations, making it extremely convenient for parents and their children to access the school.
Health and fitness club Anytime Fitness will also be setting up shop in Woods Square to help others in their lifelong fitness journey.
“We are very excited to be part of this bustling neighbourhood and to have the opportunity to influence a healthy lifestyle through fitness and wellness in the Woodlands community. As a leading brand in the industry, we provide members with a safe, clean and fun environment for them to workout 24/7”, said Anytime Fitness.

Set to become the largest economic hub in the north
The Woodlands Regional Centre is set to transform Woodlands into the biggest economic hub in Woodlands in the next 15 years, and will be home to businesses, industries, research and development, and learning and development. When completed, the Woodlands Regional Centre is expected to create about 100,000 new jobs.
Woods Square, strategically located in the Woodlands Regional Centre, further cements this northern region’s status as the new live-work-play hub.
